Walmart Connect advertising, WFS logistics, and AI-driven optimization — expanding your reach beyond Amazon.
River Rank Agency manages Walmart Marketplace end to end: item setup and content optimisation, Walmart Connect advertising, Walmart Fulfillment Services logistics planning, pricing and Buy Box strategy, and ongoing listing quality and seller scorecard management.
Walmart is materially less crowded than Amazon. Fewer sellers compete for the same search terms, advertising costs less, and a well-optimised listing can reach page one faster than the equivalent effort would on Amazon. For a brand with proven products and existing supply, it is usually the highest-return expansion available.
The catch is that Walmart is not Amazon with a different logo. The content requirements, the attribute structure, the fulfilment economics, and the algorithm all behave differently. Brands that bulk-migrate their Amazon catalog and wait are the ones who conclude the channel does not work.
Most brands we speak to have already tried Walmart. They pushed their catalog across, listings went live, a trickle of orders came through, and it stayed there. The listings were technically live but poorly attributed, uncompetitively priced, unadvertised, and invisible to Walmart search.
Meanwhile the seller scorecard quietly degrades from shipping performance issues, which restricts visibility further. It becomes a self-reinforcing cycle that looks like weak demand and is actually weak execution.

We help brands already established on Amazon expand into Walmart with the listing quality, advertising structure, and fulfilment plan the channel actually requires. Our case studies show how the expansion fits into a wider multichannel strategy.

It depends on your margins, product dimensions, and existing warehousing. WFS improves delivery speed badges and conversion but adds fees. We model both against your actual unit economics before recommending one.
In most categories there is meaningfully less competition per search term and lower advertising costs. That does not make it easy — it makes good execution disproportionately rewarded compared to the same effort spent on Amazon.
As a starting point, not a finished one. Walmart has different attribute requirements, content rules, and a listing quality score that directly affects visibility. Content needs rebuilding for the platform.
Item setup and content build typically runs two to four weeks depending on catalog size, with advertising layered in once listings are indexing properly. We map the timeline against your catalog during the audit.
